         JOIN US for a brunch for young professionals with a Lakeshore industry leader sharing their business story.

Tuesday April 29th, 11 AM to 1 PM

Scott Bekins, Owner Bekins

Scott started repairing appliances under his father’s teaching, when he was 8 (not that he liked it). At 15 they opened a retail store in Grand Haven. After doing almost every role Scott took over the family business and eventually bought out his parents. Bekins is now celebrating its 50th anniversary with 128 employees, 3 locations, and is the most awarded appliance and electronics dealer in the mid-west.

What's a "YP"/young professional? Am I invited? Young professionals are anyone 45 and under, the "next generation" of the HBA, working in the industry- whether out on a job site to in the office. All "younger" employees of members companies are invited to attend YP events. Our YP event attendees have been loving connecting with peers- share these great events with your "young" employees to get them connected in the HBA.


I'm over 45 and this event looks amazing... can I attend? We don't check IDs ;) If you're young at heart and interested in attending a YP event, we hope to see you there!
