Founder and Board Chair of DISHER Corp.


After 11 years in automotive engineering, Jeff Disher started to dream about what it might be like to operate an engineering firm that truly made a difference. He was looking for a greater purpose.

In January of 2000, with a young family at home, Jeff took that chance. He set up his card table, plugged in his computer, and went to work in an office in Zeeland, Michigan. DISHER was born.

In 2008, Jeff was selected as the Small Business Person of the Year by the Holland Area Chamber of Commerce, and in 2015 DISHER was chosen for the Business Leadership Award by the Michigan Westcoast Chamber. In 2016, DISHER was ranked by FORTUNE and Great Place to Work® as the 5th Best Small Company Workplace in the USA and the 4th Best Consulting and Professional Services Workplace in the USA

From day one, the mission of DISHER has been to Make a Positive Difference. “I’ve always wanted our customers to sleep well at night knowing their project is in great hands,” comments Jeff.

What's a "YP"/young professional? Am I invited? Young professionals are anyone 45 and under, the "next generation" of the HBA, working in the industry- whether out on a job site to in the office. All "younger" employees of members companies are invited to attend YP events. Our YP event attendees have been loving connecting with peers- share these great events with your "young" employees to get them connected in the HBA.


I'm over 45 and this event looks amazing... can I attend? We don't check IDs ;) If you're young at heart and interested in attending a YP event, we hope to see you there!
