With approximately 31% of the construction workforce being Spanish-speaking, language barriers can impact safety, training, productivity, and advancement opportunities. To help bridge that gap, Lakeshore HBA, in partnership with Latin Americans United for Progress, is proud to launch a new Spanish for Construction training course designed specifically for the building industry.

The course also includes cross-cultural communication discussions to strengthen teamwork and workplace understanding.
Participants will leave the course with practical, immediately usable skills to improve communication and strengthen jobsite performance, including the ability to:
By the end of the program, students will be able to confidently communicate in key jobsite situations including instructions, supervision, scheduling, safety, and daily coordination tasks.
This course is designed to directly impact communication, safety, and efficiency on the jobsite while helping companies better support and connect with their workforce. Space is limited and expected to fill quickly.
