Scott Bekins, Owner Bekins

Scott started repairing appliances under his father’s teaching, when he was 8 (not that he liked it). At 15 they opened a retail store in Grand Haven. After doing almost every role Scott took over the family business and eventually bought out his parents. Bekins is now celebrating its 50^th anniversary with 128 employees, 3 locations, and is the most awarded appliance and electronics dealer in the mid-west.

What's a "YP"/young professional? Am I invited? Young professionals are anyone 45 and under, the "next generation" of the HBA, working in the industry- whether out on a job site to in the office. All "younger" employees of members companies are invited to attend YP events. Our YP event attendees have been loving connecting with peers- share these great events with your "young" employees to get them connected in the HBA.
