Lakeshore Grading & Excavating is located in Holland, Michigan with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are looking to hire some additional team members.  We specialize in residential excavating and work outside in all types of environments, weather conditions, and all seasons.

Job Type:  Full-time

Lakeshore Grading & Excavating uses an assortment of heavy equipment including:

• Dump trucks
• Lead trucks
• Cranes
• Dozers
• Excavators
• Track skid steers
• Front end loaders

Many jobs consist of:

• Moving topsoil, pulling stumps & brush
• Excavation and grading of lot per site plans
• Excavating and back filling basements and foundations
• Installing septic systems and water lines
• Hauling material
• Compacting soil
• Finish grade of lots and driveways

Qualified individuals include:

• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Currently have a Class A CDL license or ability to obtain CDL license
• Test negative on a Federal drug screen (including marijuana)
• Team player
• Hardworking, reliable, and can work independently as needed
• Enjoy working outside year-round
• Able to work overtime (5-10 weekly)

Experience, Skills & Abilities – preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)

• Operating a variety of heavy equipment
• Dump truck driving (manual transmission)
• Knowledge of equipment and workplace safety
• Ability to do manual labor installing septic systems and water lines
• Read site plan blueprints
• Knowledge of laser level to determine grades
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with builders/homeowners
