Membership Coordinator-

The Lakeshore Home Builders Association (HBA), located in downtown Holland, is pleased to offer a Membership Coordinator position. The Lakeshore Home Builders Association is an association for professionals in the residential building industry and its supporting industries with membership along the Lakeshore spanning from Saugatuck to Ludington. 

Part Time: 10-15 hours (see below). Entry-mid level. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

 • Create, manage and execute processes to grow and retain Association membership

 • Execute and continuously improve new member follow up process

 • Grow the Association’s community awareness 

 • Alongside other HBA staff, oversee the Membership Committee through creating an annual, quarterly and monthly plan-of-action

 • Participate and run the Membership Committee Meetings- create the Agenda & Minutes

 • Present ‘Making the Most of Your Membership’ meeting with members

 • Work with the Event Coordinator to brainstorm events beneficial to members and communicate with members about upcoming events through personal invites and/or sponsorship

 • Build relationships, communicate and work collaboratively with members, sponsors and community members

 • Perform other office administrative duties as assigned 

Required Skills:

 • 1-3 years experience in sales, marketing and/or business development

 • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 • Outgoing and professional.

 • Ability to Independently organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments

 • Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines effectively.

 • Must be willing to work independently and report to supervisor on a regular basis regarding work progress.

 • Must have a positive, cooperative attitude and respond to constructive feedback in a mature fashion

 • Willingness to attend occasional late afternoon/evening events, as needed (approx. 2 weeknights/month)

 Part time: 10-15 hours. Hours/schedule may be flexible but must be within Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm. 

In-person position at the Lakeshore HBA's main office downtown Holland.
