Lakeshore Snow Management, a division of Lakeshore Grading & Excavating, is looking for dependable snow shovelers to join our winter crew (November-April).  This a great opportunity to earn extra income over the winter season.  The job consists of shoveling residential walkways, sidewalks, and in front of garage doors.  The job location is on the north side of Holland close to US 31.  An average number of snow events based on past winters is 18-25 times.

Responsibilities

• Shovel designated residential route in safe and efficient manner using company provided equipment
• Snow blow some sidewalks with walk-behind snow blower
• Use App on your own smartphone or tablet (provided) to track hours and assigned addresses to ensure accurate billing to customers
• Actual hours worked are snow dependent, but typically are between 3:00 am – 8:00 am, most shifts last 4-6 hours depending on amount of snow fall.  We will work with your schedule if you have a 1^st shift job to get to.
• Help with staking driveways  (optional)

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Willing and available to work on-call, early morning hours, and weekends as needed
• Physically able to walk, shovel, and lift heavy or wet snow as needed
• Have own winter clothing including footwear with traction suitable for walking on snowy and/or icy conditions
