Spanish for Construction

NEW Course!

Lakeshore HBA, in partnership with the LAUP (Latin Americans United for Progress), is offering a new, annual course, which teaches construction Spanish through a customized curriculum- covering the most common words and phrases used on a construction jobsite. Students will learn reading, writing, listening and speaking skills to communicate more effectively with team members in Spanish in areas of safety, work instruction, tools, and basic conversation.

Course Details

Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday over the course of ten weeks.
            
            October 7th- December 16th 

*October 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, 28th and 30th. 

*November 4th, 6th, 12th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th and 25th *No class on Thanksgiving

*December 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th and 16th.

Time: 2 PM to 4 PM 

Registration Fee: $900 LHBA Member; $1,200 Non-Member (Includes all materials)

Credentials Earned: Spanish for Construction Completion Certificate
