You’re invited to tour the Capitol with the HBAM Young Professionals Council! 

Join us on May 8th for a YP Tour of the Capitol. 

Time: 11: 30 AM- 5 PM

You're invited to our first-ever Capitol Day hosted by the HBAM Young Professionals Council! All are welcome to join us in Lansing to get an inside look at how state policies impact housing and connect with the lawmakers shaping our industry. The event will offer a chance to tour the Michigan Capitol, meet with legislators and discuss HBAM’s legislative priorities for the 2025/2026 legislative session. This is an opportunity to see firsthand how policy impacts home building in Michigan and how you can be part of the conversation. To close out the event, we’ll head downtown for happy hour. Your $20 registration includes lunch and your first drink at happy hour.

What's a "YP"/young professional? Am I invited? Young professionals are anyone 45 and under, the "next generation" of the HBA, working in the industry- whether out on a job site to in the office. All "younger" employees of members companies are invited to attend YP events. Our YP event attendees have been loving connecting with peers- share these great events with your "young" employees to get them connected in the HBA.
